Serial Number tracking
- Allows for the sale of serial number items
- User can issue serial number at time of sale
Special Barcodes
- POS caters for labels which are printed from a scale
- This functionality would normally be used by butchers or bakers having pre-labeled barcodes with the price or the weight. The barcode contains either the price, or the quantity/weight. When the user scans the barcode, the quantity or weight would be captured automatically by the scanner.
SQM and Boxes
- This feature displays additional columns on the document screen – Total Square Metres and Number of Boxes.
- This is ideal for an industry that sells Tiles and/or Flooring.
- This powerful functionality allows the operator to capture either the number of boxes (in which case the square metres will be calculated), or the total square metres (in which case the number of boxes will be calculated)

Frequently asked questions
Can the quotes and sales orders be available in Sage Pastel?
Yes, but you need to set this up in the point-of-sale system.
What about the layout of the documents? Will they need to be redesigned?
No. LetsSell uses the layouts as saved in the Sage Pastel Forms Designer.
What about access permissions? Can I prevent the cashiers from accessing certain columns?
LetsSell reads certain access permissions from the user setup in Sage Pastel and also provides an additional setup screen where you can select which columns each operator is able to access.
Can the invoice be edited once a payment has been done?
No, but invoices saved as COD or On Hold are able to be edited. You can, however, disable these functions if necessary.
Does the point-of-sale supervisor have to be a Sage Pastel supervisor?
No, any user can be the point-of-sale supervisor and you can limit this capacity as well, such as, not being able to approve returns or approve Cash Out.
